Dr. Chamberland & Dr. Cote

Parise Chamberland, O.D.
Dr. Parise Chamberland has been practicing optometry in Lewiston since 1994. She is a graduate of the University of Maine and New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Chamberland was recognized as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Chamberland is a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and holds a Therapeutic Advance Glaucoma License, which is the highest level of licensure in Maine. She was among the first optometrists in Maine to be credentialed to treat Glaucoma. Her other special interests in eye care are with diabetes, macular degeneration and dry eye.
In 2019, Dr. Chamberland completed courses in Advanced Surgical Procedures for the Optometric Physician and Laser Therapy for the Anterior Segment. She is committed to practicing at the highest level for her patients and supports future growth of the profession. Dr. Chamberland serves on the Maine Board of Optometry as the Complaint Officer and is a member of the Maine Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Chamberland resides in Winthrop, Maine with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family and dog, taking advantage of the multitude of recreational activities that each season offers.
Paul Cote, O.D.
Dr. Paul Cote has been practicing in Lewiston since 1995. He is a graduate of St. Anselm College and New England College of Optometry. He completed externships at the Manchester NH Veteran’s Hospital, Dorchester House (a community health center now known as DotHouse Health in Boston), and Jacksonville Eye Center in Jacksonville, FL. During his undergraduate studies at St Anselm College, Dr. Cote also completed an externship in the Molecular Pharmacology Section of the National Eye Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Washington, DC.
Dr. Cote holds the Therapeutic Advanced Glaucoma License, the highest level of licensure in Maine. He also completed a course for Advanced Surgical Procedures for the Optometric Physician and Laser Therapy for the Anterior Segment.
Dr. Cote is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Maine Optometric Association, the Maine State Board of Optometry, and the National Glaucoma Society. He is past president of the Maine Optometric Association and is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Cote lives in Harrison with his wife and two rescue dogs. They have two adult sons.
Alex Chamberland, O.D.
Dr. Alex Chamberland earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of New England and his Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University in Massachusetts, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Chamberland served as Vice President of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Society and received honors for his clinical excellence. He completed externships in ocular disease and primary eye care. Dr. Chamberland is a member of the Maine Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Alex Chamberland grew up in Winthrop, Maine and is happy to be back in his home state providing quality eye care to the people of Maine. Dr. Chamberland enjoys skiing, biking, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
Lee DeRosa, O.D.
Dr. Lee DeRosa, founding member of this practice, recently retired and is no longer seeing patients. He and his wife are spending their retirement enjoying time with family and friends.
